About US

NAMUNA Integrated Development Council (NAMUNA), established in January 2003 in Lumbini Province, Nepal, is a non-governmental, non-profit social development organization. Founded by committed social activists, NAMUNA has been dedicated to bridging the development gap between rural and urban areas by promoting equitable, inclusive growth and social justice.

Guided by the principle of ‘Partnership for Equitable Social Development’, NAMUNA focuses its attention to empowers poor, vulnerable, and marginalized communities through multi-sectoral programs in health promotion, disease prevention, rehabilitations, education, human rights, gender equality, social protection, and disaster resilience.

The organization partners with government entities and international development agencies including USAID, FHI360, UNICEF, and Lumbini Provincial Hospital. NAMUNA has emerged as a trusted local development actor with a community-centered approach and strong governance framework.
